What it is: The ISALA side table
Why I love it: It’s a fun and functional accent piece that works throughout the home. And it’s purple.
What it does: It fits in beautifully in a wide variety of design styles. The classic, turned legs and simple round top lend it a bit of a traditional look, but the larger scale of the turned ball and the unexpected color makes it fresh and fun, perfect for a more contemporary setting.
It’s also a bit of a chameleon. I can see it as a bedroom nightstand, a side table for a living room or even as a small activity table in a child’s room.
I think the designer Hanna Brogård said it best when she described the entire series, (ISALA has an accompanying sideboard and coffee table), as “…small jewels to decorate your home.”
Indeed.
