From the IKEA Home Tour Squad!
Hans and Stacy Marshalleck live in a cozy apartment in Harlem, NYC. They’ve made some improvements already, including removing a wall to open their kitchen up to the living space and installing a breakfast bar.Currently, their living room lacks storage. They enjoy spending time together with their young daughter, watching movies, working and entertaining guests in this room – so whatever solutions the IKEA Home Tour Squad comes up with definitely need to be functional!Using the vertical wall space, this BESTA solution gives the Marshalleck family closed strage for books, movies, toys and more. Plus, a new workspace means no more working on TV trays from the sofa! The ‘parking spot’ for their daughter’s stroller can serve as a prep space for her jacket and backpack as she grows, or a spot for another chair in the room.
The FRIHETEN sofa bed opens to a queen-sized sleeping space, and also has storage for the extra bed linens. The KIVIK footstool is great for putting your feet up, or as extra seating in a pinch – plus, it opens to store extra blankets, movies, board games and more! The Marshalleck’s new space is cozy, clean, and safe for their daughter. The new design includes new BESTA storage cabinets, desk, sofa bed and footstool, window treatments, textiles and lighting. A total of 196 products for less than $5000*.
