Tips for the Best Holiday Movie Night

With the bustle of the holidays, it can be difficult to relax. To truly enjoy the season, downtime is essential.  One of my favorite family traditions is also a perfect way to let my hair down: watching holiday movies together! I’m a sucker for Charlie Brown, Christmas Vacation, and Home Alone. My husband, of course, considers Die Hard to be his favorite holiday film.

For the ultimate holiday movie night, I try to plan a little in advance. Here are a few tips to help you enjoy the experience:

  1. Create a mini buffet on your coffee table. My long STOCKHOLM is perfect for this. Supply your movie watchers with popcorn, pizza, soda…etc. No need to pause the movie to grab seconds!

  2. Set the mood with a hot chocolate station and a plethora of toppings.  Marshmallows, cinnamon, whipped cream, peppermint sticks. Use your imagination!
  3. Have a ready supply of soft pillows and cozy blankets. There’s nothing like nestling down under an OFELIA throw.

There are some lovely Christmas dramas available, but this is about relaxing. My recommendation: watch a comedy and laugh yourself silly!
